Childhood is a time of rapid growth and change

Children have more well-child visits when they are younger. This is because development is faster during these years.

During the visit, your paediatrician will check your child's growth and development in order to find or prevent problems

She will record your child's height, weight, and other important information. Other than that, immunization will be administered as per the immunization schedule

Even if your child is healthy, well-child visits are a good time to focus on your child's wellness. Talking about ways to improve care and prevent problems helps keep your child healthy

How Much To Feed in the beginning?

During the initial period, how much your baby eats is less important than getting them used to the idea of eating. They will still be getting most of the enery and nutrients from breastmilk or infant formula

SCreen time

Should we set a limit?

Children and adolescents may have many different kinds of interactions with technology, therefore it is not feasible to set specific time limits on digital media use,

Current Recommendations

AAP recommends considering the quality of interactions with digital media and not just the quantity, or amount of time.

TIPS

  • focus on the content
  • co-viewing
  • open line of communication
  • screen free time/zone rules
